Health care sector

Helping struggling patients is so important
Your fiscal care partner!

The healthcare sector is constantly confronted with (changing) tax laws and regulations. As a healthcare provider, you naturally prefer to focus on your patients. Due to our specific knowledge in the healthcare sector, we are familiar with the complex matter that you as a healthcare provider may have to deal with. This way we can completely take care of your administration and support you in tax matters. In addition to outsourcing your bookkeeping, we also act as a sparring partner who is involved in your company, both at the start-up and at organizations that have already started.

WTZA

On 1 January 2022, the Care Providers Accession Act (Wtza) entered into force. With this, the Health and Youth Care Inspectorate (IGJ) wants to assess whether you, as a healthcare provider, will comply with the quality regulations set in your sector.

1. Notification requirement

Do you want to start as a healthcare provider? In that case, according to Wtza, you are obliged to report your company before you can start providing care.

Were you already registered in the trade register as a healthcare provider before 1 January 2022? Then in most cases you do not have to report. You are then automatically registered. In the window below you can check whether you are already logged in.

2. Licensing obligation and internal supervision

From 1 January 2022, you are required to apply for a permit from the CIBG if you provide specialist medical care or if more than ten care providers work in your company.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have to apply for a permit, you can almost assume that you are also obliged to appoint three internal supervisors. The internal supervisor advises the day-to-day or general management.

3. Financial Operations

To maintain public support, transparent financial management is necessary. So that it can be demonstrated that collective resources are well spent.

4. Annual report

The purpose of a public annual account in healthcare is fair and professional business operations. The obligation to report publicly ensures that the annual report can be viewed by everyone.
